Dougie’s – a modern Bistro and Wine Lounge with relaxing surroundings and a welcoming vibe. We offer a seasonally influenced menu which changes monthly with everything homemade on the premises. All of our ingredients are locally sourced from our deli and we offer a wide choice of light lunches, homemade soups, cakes and daily specials. Dougie’s started life as The Cakehole in 2010 and over the years it has evolved into Dougie’s as it is known today. Begining as a humble village shop, the beautiful Grade II former Saddlers was transformed into The Cakehole. In July 2014, The Cakehole became Dougie’s Cakehole. The same year, the very popular Bistro Service began which has grown in popularity. Since then a full scale refurbishment signified the first major pivot into what we are today. In 2019 we took the final step and dropped “Cakehole” from our name to become Dougie’s.
