Nearly there…………

Well we are nearly ready to welcome you all back to Dougie’s. It has been a really tough time for us all since the start of Lockdown and now we are all adjusting to the new normal.

For the team at Dougie’s, this means prioritising the safety of each other and of course you!

Whilst Boris has said we can open from 4th July, having discussed logistics with our team and our suppliers, we feel that we would be better to wait until later in the month – this ensures we have plenty of time to make sure that everything is as it should be before we open our doors. This is not the time to take our eye off our goals and make mistakes and therefore our opening date will be Wednesday 29th July.

We are having to make some changes to opening times and days – we are a very small team and between us we have agreed that to ensure maximum quality and safety for all, we will operate for the following days and times.

Wednesday- Friday – opening at 11.30 – last orders for food at 2.30pm

Friday Evening Bistro – open at 7.30pm – closed as always when the last person leaves

Bistro is booking only as before with a £10pp non refundable deposit

Lunch service – we will offer bookings for this as due to the reduced number of tables to adhere to social distancing guidelines, we will need to control the entry into the building. All customers will be required to give their name and contact number to enable Track and Trace should this be needed. Hand sanitising station will be available.

Our regular visitors will already know we are a small and cosy establishment and we would therefore respectfully request that we all show courtesy to others in maintaining distancing, in particular if needed to queue to use the WC.

Looking forward to seeing you all very soon – bookings can be made on 01476 564250, 07912 499770 or messaging from our Facebook page.
